Station 78 was dispatched to Hickman Rd for MVC/Vehicle Fire. Upon arrival crew on 78-4 quickly doused the fire. The scene was secured. Prior to arrival driver & passengers were removed to 78 arrival. No passengers were transported to hospital. Scene under control @ 2020. Command remained on scene until arrival of Delmarva power & DEL-DOT.

MVC/Vehicle Fire Hickman Rd
August 1st, 2011 @ 1327 hrs
Station 78 was dispatched among other fire departments to assist station 77 with a woods fire on Wilsons Hill Rd in Georgetown DE. Upon arrival of 78 units, crews aided in extinguishing the fire. Fire under control @ 1529 hrs. Units cleared scene @ 1647 hrs.

Woods fire Assist Station 77
August 2nd, 2011 @ 0651 hrs.
Station 78 was dispatched to Cattail Branch Rd early August 2nd for an outside fire. Upon arrival crews worked to douse the small woods fire. Units went under control @ 0723 hrs. cleared @ 0727 hrs.

Station 78 was dispatched to Sharps Mill Rd in response to a structure fire. Upon arrival units initiated a defensive attack to the blaze. Units went under control @ 0416.
